WAAT 25th Anniversary Celebration (Kansas History Museum Lobby, from October 22, 2009 05:30 PM to October 22, 2009 07:30 PM)

WAAT is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a cake and champagne reception. Speakers include the Hon. Deanell Tacha and the Hon. Mary Beck Briscoe, boh sitting on the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. The association will also recognize all charter members, past presidents, and current WAAT board members.

Luanne Webb from the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library will be the guest speaker for the annual Read to Me Program. WAAT encourages members to donate a new children's book appropriate for ages 0-5. WAAT will donate the books to the Grace Parent-Child Learning Center and the Highland Park Parent-Child Learning Center.
