-An Overview of the Legislative Process, presented by Jennifer Ouellette
-Legislative Advocacy, presented by Amanda Stanley
WAAT's Annual Meeting to elect the 2018-19 Board will also occur. A proposed amendment to the bylaws will be discussed. The proposed amendments can be summarized as follows:
- Addition of the Community Service and Awards Nominations Committees to the list of Standing Committees.
- Addition of $150 spending authority (with expenditures limited to no more than $300 per month) given to the President and Treasurer without Board approval.
We will be drawing names for two admissions to the annual KWAA Conference in Lindsborg, July 19-21, 2018 at the luncheon.
